[Kenwood] TM-V7A Question

Is therre a mode that allows the sub band Rx to be
disabled when Tx-ing on the main band?  I am using
this rig in a half duplex crossband mode & when I Tx
on UHF simplex, I can hear myself on VHF Rx from the
repeater.
