I did that with my 570 a couple years ago. The most workable version ended 
up with a RigBlaster interface so you can feed the signaling tones in the 
mic plug and then easily switch to the Mic once the link is established.

We're thinking about running the 570S in the ALE mode using the sound card 
theory.
  We're out of the homade business (no sodering, no nothing). Any
