[Kenwood] TS-850 Buzzing Problem

My TS-850S/AT has started to develop a problem with the appearance of a
buzzing sound, appearing every 5KC, on for 4 sec and off for 5 to six
seconds.  Other shortwave receivers,( that are not as sensitive as the
TS-850),  in my shack do hot exhibit the problem and a ham neighbor just two
homes to my south does not have the problem.  However, disconnecting the
antenna attenuates the offending signal.  I hear it from at least 5 MHZ to
30 MHZ, although not signals all are of the same strength.  Is this likely a
TS-850 problem or some outside interference source that is close to me but
far enough from my neighbor?  Have other TS-850 owners had a similar problem
or is it time for me to do some direction finding outside of my home.
