Not so! HD channels are both VHF and UHF (up until last March I worked
for a Reno TV station and helped but their VHF HD channel on the air).
And don't hold you breath on the 2009 shutdown date for analog channels.
I think there will be a real uproar when folks realize that they will be
forced to acquire new sets on some certain date. Congress will likely
back off on their ill-conceived mandate on shutdown of the analog
channels when their constituency gets excited.
