[Kenwood] TM-732A reset

Try this.

Set volume/squelch fully counterclockwise.  Hold down "MR" and power 
up.  After all segments light, turn power off.  Hold down "F" and 
"MR" keys and power up.  Hold until reset to factory specs (about 4 seconds).

This came to me from someone on the list  ...  sure wish I could remember who.
