Recently somebody posted a suggestion to use Labelle
101 oil on rig cooling fans.  I went to a large hobby
shop to buy some and was told in on uncertain terms to
NEVER use Labelle 101 oil on any units that may
contain plastic parts.  The 101 formula contains
solvents that will eventually destroy plastic.  He
said to use either Labelle 107 (mediom) or Labelle 108
(light) oil since both formulations are "plastic
compatible" and will not cause longterm damage to
plastic parts.  No matter which brand of oil you use,
be sure it is marked as "plastic compatible" or you
will cause long term damage to your fan's plastic
