[Kenwood] Noisy 940 Fan

My 940's fan sounded like a jet taking off (OK I'm stretching it a bit here) when it kicked in.  Looking at the posts, I was almost thinking of getting rid of the radio, when the message from Jim W8NGO arrived.
Taking his advise, and reading the manual (I guess I should read the whole manual), I placed a drop of light oil I had, and bingo, no more problems.
Now, if I can get rid of the industrial trash compactor noise from the ATU when I use it, all noisy problems will be eliminated.
