[Kenwood] Trouble on 10m on the TS-870S

I have a TS-870 that is one of the last produced a 603xxxxx ser # and it has 
developed a problem on part of the 10m band. Once I get above 28405 the 
display flashes a warning of ERR  FE while sending the  warning beeps. Is 
this a DSP or PLL problem? I have done both a partial as well as a full 
reset with no change. Any Ideas on this?
