[Kenwood] Update.TS930/940/950 tuning knob rubber ring.

I would like thank everyone that responded to my request for a possible 
source of the above.
The outcome of my enquiries is, that only Pacific Coast Parts, in the USA, 
still show the Kenwood part number, K29-0761-04 as being available, 
currently out of stock,  on "back order" but with no expected delivery date 
shown. Pacific Coast Parts are accepting orders for the item @ $14 per 
rubber ring. But, the order being acceptable only from a USA address.
If you live outside the USA, and do not have a friend in the USA who would 
be prepared to order the replacement rubber ring for you, then my own 
research offers a possible alternative, and that is, to make your own 
replacement, by following, and adapting, the advice given by a renown model 
car maker, Gerald A. Wingrove, on producing scale model car tyres in 
rubber....in his book "The Complete Car Modeller" ISBN 1 86126 644 8. 
Published by The Crowood Press Ltd. www.crowood.com  Chapter two "Tyres & 
Wheels" he gives comprehensive and detailed instructions, together with 
clear photographs, on the construction of patterns, moulds, and the use of 
Dow Corning Corp. silcone rubber, to reproduce "scale" model tyres, and his 
results are very impressive, and without the use of a full machine shop 
facility.....principles which could easily be applied "on the kitchen table" 
to the reproduction of the Kenwood tuning knob rubber ring, by using the 
original, if you still have it, as the "pattern". This will be my own "plan 
B" option, if my "back ordered" part, via a friend in the USA, eventually 
fails to appear....I hope this information has been of use to the
