[Kenwood] What makes the Kenwood TS-60 so rare?

I emailed a guy a while back who claimed his Honda Cb350 was rare....only 
the MOST SOLD bike for about 7 years in the 60's 70's......Something like 
half a million made...pretty NOT rare.

Not sure, but the ts 60 could be had by anyone with dollars, right?
