James,
The TS-950SDX is rated for 150 watts, so I'm not sure why you'd want to 
turn the power up beyond that. 150 watts will drive any amplifier to 
full legal output and turning up the rigs power beyond it's ratings will 
just result in distortion and IMD, further eroding the conditions on the 
bands. Can I ask why you need to turn up the power?
