[Kenwood] Locked Up TH-F6A

Hi all,

Bought this HT used a few months ago, limited use.. but when used its 
worked perfectly.

While adding "alpha names" to freqs stored, the unit locked up after 
appx the 40th entry.  Tried removing the battery, doing  any of the 
"resets" in the user manual have failed due to the keypad and all 
controls only beep.  Nothing changes on the display, can't change stored 
freqs, cant add freqs manually.. 

I do not own the computer cable set to test and see if that would make a 
difference.  Battery has been run low,  then recharged.  No change.

Any help would be appreciated!
