[Kenwood] Re TS-940 LCD dark.

I bought a TS-940 at HamCom @ Plano TX yesterday. Checkout so far is ok
with one exception: the liquid crystal display is not backlit.  There is
no reference to any replaceable lamp, and I've been unable to find any
information about the LCD unit in either the Owner's or Service Manuals.
Anyone out there with any experience with this (relatively minor)
problem? Thanks.

Look at page 62 of the service manual.
