[Kenwood] TS-830S Questions

I added lead shot (small shot held in place by epoxy)  to my original 830
knob about 20 years ago. Still works great and saves me paying the
unbelievable going rate for the KB-1 knob on ebay.

Item 1 - check the audio circuits between the volume control and the
audio output to the speaker. Sounds like you have a leaky coupling cap or
a resistor that's starting to deteriorate.

Item 2 - don't remember; check the service manual.
