[Kenwood] TS-830S Questions

Hello Kenwood folks,
   I have a TS-830S with a couple of issues and would appreciate  any help:
 
1. With the radio turned on and the AF and RF gained turned all the way  
down, I am getting a slight static crash sound coming through the speaker. None  
of the other controls, switches have any effect on the static sound. I have  
cleaned all the switches with De-oxit and everything seems to be working  fine 
except for these static crash sounds. Any ideas?
 
2. Is there a tension adjustment for the VFO knob? Mine needs to be  
tightened.
 
3. I am looking for a KB-1 weighted VFO knob. Anybody have one for  sale?
