Agreed:  NOT ALL TS440s have problems.  I sold mine after I bought the IC746
original a few years ago and NEVER did have a problem with it.  Worked fine
for me for a long time and it was working fine when I sold it.  Nothing
wrong with it.

ALL is a big word and seldom applies, makes good headlines but is rarely
true.

Maybe I have missed something about the original problem with the 440.
I have owned one since 1989 and I have not had any problems with the rig.
Could someone enlighten me?
