[Kenwood] Kenwood TM-741A

Good day,

I will soon be receiving a Kenwood TM-741A for repair.  The owner's
complaint is that he can't access any of the memory channels.  Only
the "call" memory works.

The owner does not have the service manual yet so I need to find one
on line.  Has anybody worked on one of these and encountered the same
problem?  If so, what was the cause & cure?  I would expect a dead
battery would affect all memories.  Any comments?
