[Kenwood] Programming D700 With MCP?

I had the great and good fortune to receive a D700 and D7 for 
Christmas.  I used the Kenwood Memory Control Program to program 2m 
and 70 cm repeater and simplex frequencies into the radio.  I 
presumed that the 70cm frequencies would show up in Band 'B', but 
they went into Band 'A' with the 2m freqs.  How do I get the 70cm 
freqs into Band 'B'?  Do I need to designate each of them in the 
Radio Menu to Band 'B', or create a separate file with only 70 cm 
freqs in it?  I've scoured the manuals and Help files in MCP, but 
they aren't much help.  I've used the RT Systems package to program 
my ICOM W32A and T81A, but don't remember having this issue.  Any pointers?

I haven't tried programming the D7 yet because I had to order the 
cable separately, so it would be nice to know how I should do this 
before I attempt programming it.
