[Kenwood] TS-940 Microprocessor

I have a 940 that I picked up at an estate sale.  In the owner's manual it
refers to doing a re-set of the microprocessor.  I don't know what that does
to the rig.  If I reset it, does that mean that it reverts to the factory
settings and such things as memory are all cleared and I can start with a
fresh slate on a number of different things?  If that is the case I'm not
sure what settings I would have to/be able to set.
