[Kenwood] TS-930S Mic Impedance

Nermin,

Thank you for the information.  Your info, plus other responses have 
solved the mystery of the mic impedance settings of the 930.

And what made my case "special" is that my 930 is serial number 80 
million.  Apparently (as you pointed out), the low z/high z jumper 
setting was eliminated after serial number 31 million.  So, it looks 
like after serial number 31 million only high z microphones are 
supported as jumper J16 has been eliminated.

Thus my confusion - I was reading the specs and generic descriptions 
without even considering that there may have been a mid-production 
design change.
