[Kenwood] What's the major differences between TS520 and TS820?

The notes below are only partly correct . . .

TS520 5 band no warc (This is Correct. 80-10 meters without WARC)
TS820 8 band with warc (This is Incorrect - the TS-820 had 160 meters standard but no WARC. Many TS-820 radios were modified to work the WARC bands, however. The TS-830S added the WARC bands as well as other changes.)

The "S" designation on the TS-820 (TS-820S) denoted the digital readout. It is rare but you do see TS-820 radios here and there - most of them are the TS-820S model, however. Oddly, when the TS-520S sometime after the TS-520, it had 160 meters added - thus the confusion with the suffix on the TS-820 model.
