Doug - 'early' 930s had R400 at 1.5k. 'Later' radios used 3.3k
This info from an old International Radio TS930 Users Supplement
Addendum, but they didn't specify where 'early' ended and 'later' began,
though, in general, #s 208xxxx to 309xxxx are considered 'early' and all
others 'late'.

It was recommended, in the same addendum, to change the original
quarter-watt R400 to at least half-watt & that symptoms of a bad R400
may include
S-meter moving up from 'at rest' postiion with no signal.
In transmit, Vc jumping to over 30v, then declining gradually.
Ic going to 9A, then gradually declining.
Power out following Vc & Ic, but never going over 100W.

These are quotes from the Addendum. R400 in both my 'older' 930s, was
getting very hot, I replaced both with 1-watt jobs.
Its probably easier overall to remove the main board for this job - that
is not an easy task either!!

Good Luck & 73 de Mike, zl1mh.
