[Kenwood] Help with serial #...

According  to AES I bought the last one they had anywhere in the country. It 
is a 610xxxxx serial bought on Oct 29 2004.  But again that is what they 
told me and I doubt there is anyway for me to varify this claim.

s/n 51100020  It is only a guess but I have seen previous posts somewhere 
reguarding Kenwood serial numbers and IF?......its like the TS-940's etc, 
the first number is the year, thus yours would be 1995.  Again I would guess 
the next two numbers denote the month and the remaining numbers would be the 
unit number built that month.
