[Kenwood] ts 850sat readout problem

I have a kenwood ts 850-sat abd the left sid of read out works fine but from signal meter to the right all segments stay on all segments oa on cant tell what frequency i am on with out direct entry and voice board and cw for mode bought it in 1991 I have a frend who has one and is doing the same thing any one know a fix for this by ther being 2 bought at same time doing this might be a common problen but its bothersome so if you know any fix or know what i need to do any helpwill be greatly appreaciated, Jerry wa4ucf
