Wonderful radio and better than many of the new rigs...  They go on
eBay for $1800 to $2000.  It is the best radio Kenwood ever produced
and even today they advertize the TS-480 as having a 950SDX class
receiver...

As far as things to look out for - you may want to check the radio ROM
version once you buy it.  It is easily upgraded for $35.00 or so and
is available from the parts suppliers.  Takes 2 minutes to unplug and
insert the new ROM.
