[Kenwood] [OT] Questions about *VERY* old boat-anchors?

I have across the room from me a *VERY* old and apparently home-made AM
reciever. Some of the parts carry patent dates of January 1924, and it
uses 3 01A tubes. Anyone have pointers to groups or individuals that might
be able to help me figure out more about it and/or get it working? The
tubes are possibly intact as the heaters haven't opened.
