[Kenwood] Best HF rigs

I am a knob turner and really like my 930. Just a lot of fun to
operate. One day I will have an 830 but as a back-up, I use a 520. The
930, from all of my research, and in the price range to 600.00, was my
best bet.

Subject: [Kenwood] Best HF rigs

I have owned the TS-940, 950SDX as well as the 870 & 2000. I loved the
SDX
and what it offered in the way of performance. So much in fact I have
owned
3 of them over the years (wish I still had one of them). I currently
operate
HF using the 870. The 2000 is dedicated to strictly VHF/UHF work and use
it
as a back up to the 870 on HF. I have to admit though I have been drawn
to
the old boat anchors preferably the 830/930 variety.

Just my 2 cents worth.
