[Kenwood] Nice surprise this weekend

I picked up a Kenwood TS690 last weekend in a trade, and had it going for a little while in the CQWW contest this weekend.  Didn't really know what to expect out of the radio, but was pleasantly surprised at how good its receiver is.  The front end help up well under contest conditions, and so far it has been a nice rig to play with.  ALso get great audio reports with it.

Anyone else also surprised at how good this rig turned out to be? Now I just have to find the Narrow SSB filter for it.  That would have helped at times this weekend.
