[Kenwood] Silk screen legends

I am in process of restoring a TS940s, and because the previous owner
used some controls more than others, some of the silk screened printed 
panel/push button legends, have completely worn away. One possibility 
for replacement, is to try Letraset dry transfers, if I can match the 
type face, although they may not be durable enough. But, before I "re-
invent the wheel" has anyone out there, evolved a way of re-printing 
the individual, worn out, silk screen legends on their equipment ?
