[Kenwood] RE: Kenwood Filter question

I remember seeing both and the "YK" had a physically smaller "can".
Internally, I'm not sure of the differences, but I remember hearing
somewhere that the "YK-455C-1" filter was ceramic and not crystal.  Might
also be a difference in the number of poles.

BTW, the xx-455C-1 is a standard 500Hz CW filter.  The xx-455CN-1 is the
narrow 270Hz filter.

Hey, whadda ya know.  Here's a handy chart I just found on Kenwood's site.

but at least it's a chart of all the filters Kenwood's released and what
models they're compatible with.

I just acquired a Kenwood TS690, and am getting some extra filters for it.
I have seen a narrow CW filter for the 455khz IF listed as both the
YG-455-C1 and the YK-455-C1.  Are these different filters, and if so, would
both work in the TS690?
