Anyone whom has the PS 430 and could scan the schematic for me?
Also, does the power supply come with a grounded cord?
Mine has an ungrounded cord(2 pins at wall, 3 at power supply)
If connected so that "hot side " from wall goes to "hot side" at Power
supply(side with fuse), I have 110 volts on case. (trips g.f.i.).
If connected so that cord is reversed, it works fine, but still has 10 VAC
on case.
On a NON GFI circuit, with GROUNDED cord(3 wire)--Ground wire is carrying
bulk of current, in fact fuse can be removed with NO effect. (Love those
G.F.I'S). (These cords seem to be wired so that "hot" from wall is NOT on
fused side)
I discovered this at my Father's shack when I reached across the PS430 and
my forearm took a shock which apparently blew the fuse (10 amp) in the A.C.
line. Quite a jolt!
Anyone have a schematic which could be scanned and emailed? Mods DK has
manual, but no schematic.
Thanks all.
