Hi,
When listening to my TS-570D(G) on another rig, I can hear a weak signal around 14.000MHz that is turned on and off by keying on CW. It doesn't follow each dit or dah, but rather acts like it's being keyed by the VOX with a little delay.
The '570 doesn't have to be in transmit, nor does the mode or frequency matter; as owners of this rig know, the set can be keyed in any mode anywhere and the sidetone can be heard. (It makes a great code practice oscillator!) The signal can even be heard on the '570 itself if it is tuned to about 14.000MHz.
Anyone else notice this?
Thanks & 73, Curt, K4TL
