[Kenwood] How the Data (ACC2) Port on the Kenwood TS-570SG Works

Hi Everyone,

In case anyone else is trying to hook up the 13 pin ACC2 to their 
computer using Kenwood's manual, I thought I'd post what I found after 
a couple of hours of work last night.  Here is what I sent to Kenwood 
today.

In case anyone else is using a Mac and needs to have VOX work on the 
audio from the data connector, I worked out a modification to enable 
that functionality.  You just lift pin 13 on IC502 on the back side of 
the control board.  (Technically, it should probably be tied high 
through a pull up resistor, but I found that it works fine floating, 
and I didn't want to mess with soldering those tiny leads any more than 
necessary.)  I took some photos and will try and put something up on my 
web pages for others who would like this functionality.
