[Kenwood] TS-940 HELP urgently needed: loss of digiital control

Undertook Amateur Service Bulletin 917, which required taking out the
PLL board, replacing 
Resistors, capacitors and shifting capacitors. Soldered a couple of poor
looking joints on the back of the board.

Then while the Digital A Board was out inspected to verify the condition
of the solder joints here.
Was surprised many joints had very little solder and looked in very poor
condition. One joint appeared not even soldered.
So carefully soldered about 85 percent of joints on the back of the
board. I.e. Carefully quickly heat and apply a very small amount of
extra solder. Spent 3 hours doing this carefully. Checked carefully with
4 x glasses there were no solder bridges.

All work was done while earthed working on an earthed aluminium sheet.

Drew diagrams of every connector while disassembling, so I am certain
that all the connectors went back in the same places they  came off.

Re assembled and now the TS-940 is dead. 

Specifically
- turn power on 
- first time and only first time there was a bleep bleep bleep bleep has
not repealed since first time,
- no digits in the display or the RIT - XIT off set digits,
- secondary display shows 99.999 LS on both top and bottom
- no audio except a blah sound as the radio powers on,
- split light on
- PG.s light on
- Memo, RIT and XIT indicators on

What have I done wrong?

Have teken apart, checked everything again, reassembled and no changes.

Any help would be really appreciated.
