[Kenwood] CW Tone and CW IF Filter in the TS-570S?

Hi Gentlemen:

I just installed a YK-88C in my TS-570SG, and I'm surprised to find 
what seems to be a bug in the firmware of the TS-570SG, or perhaps the  
YK-88C isn't the same frequency as the YK-88C-1.  What I notice is 
this:  As I change the CW audio frequency (through the menu) instead of 
seeing the IF passband shift with the AF passband as it seems it 
should, I note that the background noise peaks up at 400 Hz (and I 
can't tune lower than that, so I don't know if it is really the peak).

Can any of you explain this behavior?
