[Kenwood] Discussion With Kenwood Rep Regarding Future HF Rigs

While I agree that it is a smart business decision, I
am saddened that Kenwood is, in effect, not playing in
the HF amateur market anymore. However, it has been
evident that they have pulled back for quite some
time. I have heard many, many complaints about the
TS2000, even from staunch Kenwood users, followed by
the discontinuation of the TS-870. I own some older
Kenwood equipment, but of late I have become an Icom
fan and now own a 756ProIII. I owned a Kenwood
TS-520S when I originally got into this hobby in the
mid-70's. I shed a tear for what has happened.
