[Kenwood] TS-940S Display

Well the 940 got in okay here at the office from UPS in one piece. No
physical damage that I can see. However, the LCD subdisplay is lit up
but no characters on it. I was thinking that this is one of those
connector issues. Can this be corrected by reseating the edge connector
and pushing the reset?
