[Kenwood] TS-930 RX sensitivity (new cause)

One of my TS-930's had substantially reduced sensitivity on 14 & 18 Mhz. Previous work found on this list pointed to the PIN diode switches (BPF). I was using HP8640B Sig Gen to measure the sensitivity, then as a source while I probed the diodes to determine which diodes to replace. The sensitivity returned to near normal (-125db). I thought I'd affected one of the diodes during the probing. Cliff Holland offered that the Antenna Tuning relay(s) may be the culprit(s); unintentional relay closures or simultaneous closures would cause my symptom.

The sensitivity problem reappeared. This time I 'THUMPED' the top right side on the radio and the sensitivity returned to normal. The PIN diodes are back in the parts drawer....focusing on servicing the ATU.

Thanks to Cliff for pointing me in the right direction.
