Is that the purpose of the 570DG? And don't forget CW
also. Some of us still like that outdated mode.

That is why there are things like the Icom 718 and
Yaesu FT840. Very reasonably priced if all you want
to do is get on HF and ragchew. Too bad the TS50
didn't add VOX, DSP, and a built in keyer. Would make
a great base/mobile rig.
