[Kenwood] Digital Display Kenwood 530s

Freq Displays 13.5 on 20meter does not change or update frequency when tuning knob is changed. Radio works ok in all other repects. Tx and Rx ok symptoms similar on all bands  20m 13.500.0   17m 17.500.0  15m 20.500.0  all other bands similar according to the theory in the service manual the counter is not being update. My question has anyone experiance this problem before and has any ideas as to what component has failed and where the counter input is coming from.  The problem occured while trying to tune up on 15m.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  Tnx for your help 73 nick
