[Kenwood] TS 480 SAT

Hello all, 

I am thinking about purchasing a TS-480 sat, but would like to know how good is its selectivity on SSB. Is purchasing the 1.8 filter worth it. Has anyone compared it with a Yaesu Ft-1000mp Mk-V Field, or an Icom 756 Pro II ? I am visually impaired and will be running it with the RCP and Ham Radio Deluxe. If anyone has a/b'd their 480 and something else, could you perhaps give the comaparisons and its selectivity ? Thanks for any assistance, 73's, and g.b.
