The SM-220 was an excellent station monitor. These days with the new trend of
''SHACK-IN-A BOX", has a minimum of ways of testing your Tx and Rx abiility.
The TS-850SAT will give you Tx audio monitor and an RF/ALC bar graph.

  No where near as usefull, as a staion monitor of old.
    I use a Wavetek 3000S  SERVICE MONITOR in my shack. I get all sorts of 
usefull tests. Coupled with a PC, you get A-1 MONITORING.
