[Kenwood] TS 530 repair

I have an almost 25 year old Kenwood TS530 (my first rig) that 
is still in great shape, but it is having transmit issues.  I sent it 
down to the Kenwood East repair people in Virginia Beach and they 
sent it back without repairs, saying it suffers from a hi voltage 
problem and that the parts needed are no longer made. 
(They gave no details on the parts/problems other than that.) 

I would appreciate any guidance from people about where 
I should try next in terms of repair outfits to get the rig working.
