You should be able to find at least a couple of large rubber seals or grommets in the firewall through which Ford ran wires.  You should be able to run the power cable through one of them.  

Be careful not to damage the insulation of any existing wiring in the process.

I always cover the new wiring with split loom and secure with cable ties to protect the wiring.
