[Kenwood] TS-600 question

Neither the operating nor the service manual define, or include a figure,
to show the jumper connections. It was shown in the TS-700A operating
manual (2 meter version), but not in the TS-600 manual. Anyway, jumper
pin 8 to pin 9. That's the only jumper you need. 

TS-600 is a great all mode 6 meter rig. I've had mine since the late
70's, as the original owner, and still continues to perform well. With
the front panel RF Level control, it's very easy to adjust your proper
driving RF to match the input of a linear amplifier. The rig is also very
easy to service. Each major section of circuitry is on its own printed
wiring board. And there are real resistors, capacitors, and solid-state
devices that are easy to find and easy to recognize. In the receiver I
changed my front end devices to 3SK-48's a number of years ago. They
provided slightly higher gain and a lower noise level. Also, an amplified
D-104 (CB style) will work well with this rig and also provide you with
some good talk power for your 10 to 12 watts.
