[Kenwood] TM231A Question

While replacing the power switch on my TM231A, I noticed what appears to be 
a mod.  It looks like someone pulled +13V from the supply side of R201 
through a small inductor, with the intention of applying it somewhere else 
on the front panel board.  Trouble is, the wire is broken off, and I can't 
tell where they were intending to apply the +13V.

I don't find a mod anywhere that talks about this addition.  And the radio 
appears to work fine with the "mod" removed.  Just curious if anyone has an 
idea what this was all about?
