[Kenwood] TS480HX Low Power Output on SSB

[vk3ajj]

Normal voice produces about 30W peaks - whistle about 70W - this is less
than my Icom 706Mk2g in the same installation - same power meter.
Processor makes little difference

How are you measuring the power out???

When you talk do you get an ALC reading??

When you whistle can you get 200w out??
