[Kenwood] TS-870 HELP

The 7 in the serial no. means it was made in 1995 or 1996 so I think this
was before the
factory receive mod became a part of production, but don't hold me to that.
This is
just a guess.  you should somehow, test your 870 to see if the mod was done
or not,
or find out exactly when yours was made and when the rx mod was put into
production.
Maybe you can find out from Kenwood if no one on this mail list can clarify.
There might be something about this at www.mods.dk or by doing a google
search on TS870 receive mod
