Dave,

Have you tried performing a CPU reset? On that radio there may be a couple
levels of reset. Go for the one that resets the CPU not just clears the
memories and user settings. That may fix the problem. At least it is easy and
no cost. Write down your settings and memory channel information before you
reset.
