My TM2570 became inoperative but was sensitive to mechanicalshock.
The receiver and transmitter would not work unless i hit the radio.
i found the problem to be a cracked solder joint under the PLL Board.
The PLL board is underneath the radio in the rear.
The solder joints under the potted Rx VCO get pulled out
after a few years of being temperature cycled in the mobile.
They should never have potted this assembly.
It is a little square tin can in the center of the board that has a soldered
on lid.
No need to unsolder the can, Just use a microscope
and look for cracked solder joints on the bottom and re-solder.
My TM2570 started working right after a little re-soldering.
This fix would also apply to the TM2530 and TM2550..
